Drive a vintage Fiat 500 in a convoy tour through country roads around Florence. Your guide communicates via radio leading you through lovely landscapes.

We start our tour just outside of town with an introductory driving lesson, before setting off on a private road through a vineyard. We travel through quiet, walled country lanes bursting with poppies, towards the Chianti Area.

This 2 hours tour takes in some spectacular views trough the Countryside. Moreover, it includes 2 stops, where you can enjoy the visit of a furnace overlooking the lands of the “Terracotta” and a break among the vineyards of Sangiovese Chianti Classico. Please notice that to drive on this tour you must be a manual car driver.

Per vehicle: minimum 2 and maximum 3 adults OR 2 adults with 2 children up to 12 years old.

 

Driving Restrictions
To drive one of our vintage cars you MUST be a manual car driver (regularly, as in every day, not occasionally, and not at some point in the distant past). You MUST have a valid license to drive in Italy.  This is a license from Europe. USA, or a license written in the Roman alphabet (not in a language using other characters. es. Chinese) accompanied by your passport. If you don’t have one you will need an INTERNATIONAL LICENSE, which is essentially a translation easily obtained from your driving authority. You MUST have a Credit card.   This is for the insurance documents.  As a driver you have dedicated insurance cover included in the price.   You MUST have held your license for 1 year to drive any of the cars.  All our routes are very carefully researched to enjoy quiet roads once we are out of town, whilst avoiding some of the busy major roads and complicated junctions. From the lead car the guide is linked to your car via RADIO, and will be entertaining you with information (and jokes) on what you are passing.  So all you need to do is smile, wave, hoot the horn and enjoy.
