A panoramic guided tour of Fiesole will allow you to enjoy spectacular views and to admire a lovely town, founded by the Etruscans in the 8th century B.C. on the hills overlooking Florence and the Arno valley.

The Uffizi Gallery is closed on Mondays and replaced with a visit to the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio (political headquarters and house of the Medici family).

We drive up by coach or by minibus to Fiesole, a lovely town founded by the Etruscans on the hills overlooking Florence and the Arno Valley from the north and enjoy spectacular views, framed by the cypresses and olive groves covering the hill slopes.
After driving back into Florence, we get out near the river Arno and continue on foot through the medieval streets, to the east of the old city centre, as we walk past the Franciscan Basilica of Santa Croce (where Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo and many other famous people are buried) on our way to the spectacular Piazza della Signoria, where we admire the imposing Palazzo della Signoria or Palazzo Vecchio and the harmonious Loggia della Signoria, as well as the many statues by Cellini, Giambologna and Ammannati adorning the square .
The tour continues with a guided tour of the famous Uffizi Gallery* where we can follow the development of Christian painting, admiring superb works by Cimabue, Giotto, Masaccio, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, etc.
The guided tour ends inside the museum, enabling one to explore a little further on ones own.
