Explore the Vesuvius and admire the ruins of Pompei

Travel from Sorrento, along the scenic route out of the Sorrentine peninsula, and onto the motorway until arriving in Pompei.

On arrival you will meet your guide and you enter the area of ruins.

Accompanied by the guide the clients will explore the main features of the ancient city, the baths, bakeries, theatres just to name a few. 

The city of Pompeii is visited in the morning, though the order may change during high season. 

After lunch in Pompeii, the coach departs for Mount Vesuvius.

The coach arrives to mt. 1000 and if you wish, you can walk the rest by yourself; it is possible to rent walking sticks to help you walk up to the crater.

Upon reaching the crater, a local guide will walk you around the crater and give an explanation (not guaranteed that the guide service is always available).

Then there is free time to walk around until meeting the bus at the car park and make the journey back to Sorrento.
