Overview

For all those customers who wish to visit the museum in total freedom and at their own pace, guided by an audio commentary of expert art historians recorded in their own language.

Total immersion in the art of Michelangelo to know his most renowned work, the “David”, and other important works of art such as ''I Prigioni'' and ''San Matteo'' and the “Palestrina Pietà”.

The young Michelangelo carved the David from a huge block of rough marble in three years, creating an imposing sculpture of absolute beauty, an icon of the renaissance model.

He depicted a magnificent nude young man at the height of his physical vigor, whose intense expression of strength and courage, which originated from an absolute faith in God, roses as a symbol of power and invincibility of the Florentine Republic at the time of its maximum splendor.

Efficient!

It was really easy to find the Caf assistant who immediately checked our reservation and gave us the tickets and a voucher to collect our audioguides. The Accademia is not too big but I'm happy to having used an audioguide to admire the masterpieces.

Skip the line!

Worth booking the Skip the line for this tour, as the line up was huge for non reservation! The audioguide was very useful as we could explore the museum and focus on what we liked most, in total freedom.

Well organized service

We were given the tickets right away by the person that was waiting for us at the entrance of the Gallery. We waited in line about five minutes or so for security check and that was it. We saved time and energy and thanks to the audioguide we could learn a lot about the Michelangelo's David.

Well worth the money

The actual queue for the gallery was wrapping around be block and was taking up to an hour to get in. This ticket and the audioguide meant we just jumped straight to front, were inside within 10 minutes and visited the museum in total freedom. Well worth the money.

David is even more stunning than I could have ever imagined. The audio guide was insanely informative about the artist, his work and the museum itself. if you are ever in Florence, visit this museum! see David it's well worth it, even more if at your own pace!

Premetto che non sono un amante dell'arte ma mi sono fatto convincere dalla mia ragazza a visitare la Galleria dell'Accademia perché lei ne era rimasta molto entusiasta. Beh, devo ringraziarla, non solo per avermi convinto ma anche per aver prenotato i nostri biglietti con le audioguide in anticipo. Non abbiamo fatto la fila e abbiamo passeggiato nel museo per ore...alla fine mi è pure piaciuto!
