This experience will complete your knowledge of the Renaissance culture and once back home you will be able to bring to the table the aromas and flavors of that mythical era. During the class you will learn how easy is to prepare the specialties that were served in a Renaissance banquet. Our professional Chef will you reveal the recipes sung by Lorenzo il Magnifico in his sonnets and exported by Caterina de Medici, with her Chefs, to the Court of France . You will be able to prepare and enjoy fragrant and tasty dishes such as* the vegetable millefeuille, the bread gnocchi with cheese and truffle, the chicken pie with saffron and porcini mushrooms and the sweet "panbriaco" with Alchermes liqueur and chocolate. A seductive sensory journey that will transport you into the Renaissance atmosphere, immersing yourself in authentic and unusual flavors discovering the true roots of Florentine cuisine.

We made pizza. Real Italian pizza. Then we ate it and it was DELICIOUS! Loved this cooking course, now that I know the authentic recipe I can do it at home for my Sunday family meeting! Amazing experience!

Chef simpatico e molto accogliente, ci siamo sentiti come nella cucina di casa nostra! Finalmente ci hanno svelato la ricetta della pizza, la rifaccio spesso a casa! Ottimo anche il gelato, da rifare la prossima estate! Un bel modo per rilassarsi e godersi le vacanze conoscendo altri viaggiatori.

Amazing pizza, gelato and sorbetto, well taught & explained but Chef Walter. We had a great time with our two teens, but really it would suit singles, couples & groups alike. We met very nice people which was all part of the experience. I highly recommend this class while in Florence!
