Starting from Florence, you will head to Volterra, an ancient hilltop town with Etruscan, Roman, and medieval roots. As part of your exclusive experience, you’ll visit an alabaster workshop where a master artisan will demonstrate the traditional techniques used to craft this beautiful, translucent stone—quarried and worked in this area for millennia.

Next, we head to Pisa, where you’ll encounter one of the world’s most iconic landmarks: the Leaning Tower in the splendid Piazza dei Miracoli. While the Tower is the star attraction, Pisa has much more to offer: a blend of history and culture that you can explore at your own pace with a self-guided experience through an interactive app included in the tour. You’ll have the freedom to explore the piazza and its monuments, while the app provides stories and insights about this ancient city. Pisa is also an ideal spot for a lunch break (not included), with a variety of local trattorias offering classic Tuscan dishes.

The final stop of your journey will be the picturesque town of Lucca. Famous for its impressive Renaissance walls, this town offers an intimate and authentic atmosphere. Admire San Martino Cathedral, the Guinigi Tower, topped with its iconic oak tree garden, explore colorful and lively piazzas, and if you wish, take a short walk on a section of the ancient city walls for panoramic views.
